9-12-1: PURPOSE:

The purpose of this chapter is to provide minimum standards and requirements, independent of and complimentary to, other adopted building codes of Boise City, in order to safeguard the public welfare, health, safety, including diversion of materials as waste, by regulating and controlling the moving, deconstruction, or demolition of whole buildings and structures, or a significant partial demolition where a bond is required as determined by the building official or designee.
