242.01 ESTABLISHMENT.
   There is hereby established a Division of Water and Sanitary Sewage within the Department of Public Service. The operation and maintenance of the sewerage system, the collection of water and sewer rental charges and the supervision of the water and sewerage systems shall be the responsibilities of the Division.

242.02 SUPERINTENDENT.
   (a)   Establishment of Position. There is hereby established the position of Superintendent of the Division of Water and Sanitary Sewage.
   (b)   Duties. The duties of the Superintendent shall consist of the full-time administrative supervision of the filtration plant, the pumping plant and water lines and services; all necessary construction and maintenance of such facilities, the sewage treatment plant and the City waterworks office; and such other duties as Council may from time to time assign.

242.03 SCHEDULE OF CHARGES.
   The Director of Public Service shall establish a schedule of prices for the construction or repair referred to in Section 242.02(b), which prices shall be as nearly as practical the actual cost thereof and which schedule may be changed or amended from time to time as the Director may find necessary to make the schedule conform to such cost.
