   131.01 ESTABLISHED; COMPOSITION.
   Pursuant to Charter Article VII, Section 1, there is hereby established the Department of Law consisting of the Director of Law, the Division of Municipal Prosecution, and such other officers and employees as Council may from time to time authorize in such Department.

   131.02 DIRECTOR OF LAW.
   The office of Director of Law was established pursuant to Charter Article VII, Section 2, and the general powers and duties of the Director of Law are as enumerated in that section, including supervision of the Division of Municipal Prosecution. From and after the first permanent appointment of a Director of Law after the effective date of this amendment, the position of Director of Law shall be a full-time, in-house position and, during the term of employment, the Director of Law shall not engage in the private practice of law for any client other than the City.
