137.01 ESTABLISHED; COMPOSITION.

   There is hereby established in the Department of Finance of the City, a Division of Taxation consisting of the Commissioner of Taxation, and such clerks or other employees as Council may from time to time authorize in such Division.

137.02 COMMISSIONER OF TAXATION.

   The Commissioner of Taxation shall be in charge of the Division of Taxation and shall have the powers and duties set forth in Chapter 193 and shall perform such other duties consistent with his office as the Director of Finance may from time to time require or request. The Commissioner shall be appointed by the Mayor subject to confirmation by a majority of the members of Council.
