The Public Works Director and the Police Chief each may, upon application and good cause being shown therefor, authorize temporary no parking upon those streets which are under the jurisdiction of the City and for such time period as deemed appropriate by them. Any such temporary no parking shall be designated by a posted sign. No person shall stop, park, or stand a vehicle in violation of any such posted parking regulations unless in compliance with the directions of a peace officer.
