156.01 PERMIT REQUIRED.

It is unlawful for any person to commence or proceed with the construction of any automobile driveway within the City, extending from the roadway of any improved street in the City to and upon a portion of the sidewalk area between the curb line of the street and the adjacent lot line, without first obtaining a permit therefor.

156.02 PERMIT APPLICATION.

The application for a permit for the construction of an automobile driveway, as provided in this chapter, shall be made by the owner, duly authorized in writing, or by his agent.
