It shall be unlawful for any person to deface, damage, tamper with, willfully break, destroy or impair the usefulness of, or to open without lawful authority, any parking meter installed in parking meter zones. It shall be unlawful to deposit or cause to be deposited in any parking meter any slug, device or substitute for a coin of the United States of America. It shall be unlawful to attempt to avoid payment of any meter or pay station by any means.

Except as otherwise provided herein, no person shall stop or park a vehicle upon a roadway other than parallel with the curb or edge of the roadway headed in the direction of lawful traffic movement and with side wheels nearest the curb or edge of the roadway within 18 inches of the curb or edge of the roadway.

(A) Where parking stalls have been marked by sign, meter, or painted lines on the pavement, a vehicle shall be parked within the marked area.
(B) Where parking stalls on publicly owned parking lots are marked and reserved for the exclusive use of particular vehicles, it shall be unlawful for any person to park any vehicle in such a reserved stall without displaying on the vehicle a current sticker issued for that particular stall by the governmental body owning such parking lot.

Upon those streets which have been signed or marked by the Mayor or his designated representative for angle parking, no person shall park or stand a vehicle other than at the angle to the curb or edge of the roadway indicated by such signs or markings.

(A) No person shall park any vehicle at an angle to the curb for the purpose of loading or unloading merchandise, freight, objects or passengers without a permit issued for the vehicle from the Mayor or his designated representative, and such permit shall be open to inspection by any police officer, except where allowed by signage.
(B) No person shall park such a vehicle in violation of any of the special terms or conditions of such permit.

No person shall park a vehicle on any street in a business district during the hours of 3:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. of any day, except physicians on emergency calls.

No vehicle 90 inches or more in width shall be parked on any street except for the purpose of loading or unloading merchandise, freight, or objects provided that such vehicle shall not be unattended at any time during such loading or unloading.
