143.01 RESPONSIBILITY OF ENGINEER FOR BRIDGES.
   The City Engineer is hereby designated as the City official responsible for inspecting and inventorying City bridges.

143.02 ASSESSMENT SERVER.
   (a)    The position of Assessment Server in the Division of Engineering shall be a part- time position in the unclassified service. In emergency situations, with the approval of the City Engineer, other City employees may perform such services but without any additional compensation.
   (b)   The duties and responsibilities of the Assessment Server shall be to serve all notices in connection with assessment projects.
   (c)   The position of Assessment Server shall not be filled by any person employed by the City on a full-time basis.

143.03 QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITIONS. (REPEALED)
   (EDITOR'S NOTE: Section 143.03 was repealed by Ordinance 81-124, passed May 4, 1981, which ordinance contains detailed descriptions of job titles, qualifications for each such title, duties and related specifications. In addition, the ordinance approves an Organization Chart for the Division of Engineering, which Chart is attached thereto. Ordinance 86-172, passed September 15, 1986, repealed Ordinance 81-124.)
