§ 41.001 CODE ADOPTED; ENFORCEMENT

   (A)   For the purpose of establishing and maintaining new uniform specifications and regulations regarding the construction of public sidewalks within the city and pursuant to the authority granted in KRS 83A.065(5), the city’s Public Sidewalk Specifications and Construction Code, 1982 edition, a copy of which is on file in the City Hall, is hereby approved and adopted by reference as the new code of the city and such code is hereby made a part of this code to the same effect as though fully set out herein.

   (B)   All provisions of existing law relating to the administration and enforcement of such codes in the city, not inconsistent herewith, shall be applicable to the administration and enforcement of the code hereby adopted.

§ 41.100 LIGHTING REQUIRED

   Any person making any excavation in any street or sidewalk in the city shall cause the same to be sufficiently lighted and barricaded from dark until dawn.
