Bituminous concrete pavement shall consist of one (1) two inch (2”) course of compacted binder and one (1) one inch (1”) course of compacted surface. Placement and compaction shall be performed as specified in the latest design specifications of the Kentucky Department of Highways. A tack coat of SS1H, or equivalent, shall be applied between the binder and surface courses.
