Division 1. Generally.
Every hotel must have a unique number on the corridor side of the door to each guest room. (Mont. Co. Code 1965, §90-2; 2017 L.M.C., ch. 27, §1.)
A hotel must not admit more visitors than the number for which it is licensed. (Mont. Co. Code 1965, §90-3; 1982 L.M.C., ch. 49, §4; 2017 L.M.C., ch. 27, §1.)
Registers kept under Section 54-3 must always be available at the hotel for inspection by the Director, the fire marshal, the police chief and their designees. The licensee may request the official to present proper credentials or proof of identity.
