GENERAL CODE PROVISIONS
57.08 PENALTY.
Violation of any provision of this chapter by an owner of an animal may be enforced as a municipal infraction within the meaning of Section 364.22 of the Code of Iowa, pursuant to Chapter 4 of this Code of Ordinances. Enforcement pursuant to this section shall be undertaken by the enforcement officer upon the advice and consent of the City of Attorney.
