No person fishing from a pier or the shore within the town limits shall bait or cause to be used any bait which attracts sharks of any type to the shores or piers. This section shall not prevent regular and normal fishing now done on piers and shores of the town, except to the extent it affects the baiting and luring of sharks to the waters of the town.

No persons shall remove from any property owned by the town any sea oats or other native vegetation which is useful and helpful in the preservation of such land against wind, water, or tidal erosion.

(A) There shall be no fishing, crabbing, or taking of marine life of any kind or by any means, from any public bridge within the corporate limits of the town except as provided herein.
(B) Fishing shall be permitted on the north side of the Highway 74 bridge crossing Banks Channel from October 1 through March 31 provide that during such time, no fishing, crabbing, or taking of marine life of any kind or by any means shall be permitted on such bridge above those areas designated as travel ways for vessels passing underneath such bridge.

It shall be unlawful for any person to dig holes, trenches or other depressions on the beach strand adjacent to the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and depart the beach strand without having first completely filled such hole, trench, or other depression.

No vehicle as defined in Chapter 70 of the town code shall be permitted on the foreshore, beach strand or barrier dune system within the town limits of the town except as follows:
(A) Vehicles owned and/or operated by employees and agents of the town, county, the state, and the U.S. Government while engaged in official duties shall not be subject to the provisions of this section.
(B) The Board of Aldermen or Town Manager may approve the operation of vehicles on the areas described hereinabove pursuant to the provisions of an activity or event approved by the Board of Aldermen or Town Manager. A permit, issued by the Wrightsville Beach Police Department, must accompany vehicles accessing the beach strand. The permit will specify the date and location where the vehicle will be operated.
(C) Handicapped persons shall be permitted to use vehicles on the areas described above in accordance with the provisions of § 92.05 hereinabove.
(D) Bicycles (excluding those equipped with a throttle) are permitted on the beach strand at any time between October 1 and April 1. Between April 1 and October 1, bicycles are prohibited on the beach strand between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
