No boat equipped or driven by a gasoline motor or by other internal combustion engine, including those driven by outboard motors, shall be driven or plied in the waters of the Banks Channel between the northern edge of Masonboro Inlet and the southern edge of Wrightsville or Moore's Inlet, unless the motor or engine is equipped with suitable mufflers of some standard or approved type.
