Because businesses qualified in accordance with § 92.25 to tow vessels at the request of the authorized town official are responsible for collecting towing fees, the provisions of G.S. Article 7A of Chapter 20 (§§ 20-219.9 et seq.) concerning notice, hearing and other procedures shall be applicable when vessels are towed pursuant to this chapter. All notices required by provisions of G.S. Article 7A of Chapter 20 shall be given by the Police Department.
