This chapter provides definitions of terms and phrases used in these Regulations that are technical or specialized, or that may not reflect common usage. If any of the definitions in this chapter conflict with definitions in other chapters of the Municipal Code, these definitions shall prevail for the purposes of these Regulations. If a word used in these Regulations is not defined in this chapter, or other titles of the Municipal Code, the most common dictionary definition is assumed to be correct.
Terms defined in this chapter that are followed by the phrase "(land use)" are the land use types used in Divisions IV and VI in the tables listing allowed uses and permit requirements for each zoning district.
