   The city enters into agreements, from time to time, with representatives of various classes of municipal employees. Such agreements provide for compensation, benefits and other incidents of employment.
    The provisions of this chapter, therefore, apply only to those persons and those subjects not otherwise provided for in such agreements.
   This chapter was re-enacted in its entirety by Ordinance 24-01, passed February 5, 2001. Ordinance 24-01 was repealed by Ordinance 114-03, passed August 18, 2003, codified herein. Ordinance 114-03, passed August 18, 2003 and Ordinance 07-04, passed January 5, 2004 were repealed by Ordinance 159-04, passed January 24, 2005, codified herein.
