§ 264.04 MILEAGE ALLOWANCE; USE OF CITY VEHICLE.
   (A)   Any employee, subject to this chapter, who is required to use his or her personal automobile for city business, shall be reimbursed at the prevailing Internal Revenue Service allowable rate. Mileage requests must be approved by the employee’s department head. Mileage requests of department heads must be approved by the Mayor.
   (B)   City-owned or leased motor vehicles shall be used exclusively for city business.
   (C)   For purposes of this chapter, “city business” shall include use of motor vehicle between the municipal building(s) and the user’s home, for positions deemed to require access to a motor vehicle on a 24-hour basis. The Mayor shall specify, in writing, which positions are required to have access to a motor vehicle on a 24-hour basis.
