§ 264.09 EDUCATIONAL REIMBURSEMENT.
   (A)   All employees covered under this chapter requesting permission to attend any school, training session or seminar shall submit such request to the department head, stating the objective, benefit to the department, relevance to employee’s job performance and the estimated expense. Such department head may then authorize payment of tuition or fees in advance, or, if said tuition or fees have been paid by the employee, may authorize reimbursement to the employee.
   (B)   Such attendance shall be compensated at the regular straight time for travel time and attendance, not to exceed eight hours in any one day.
