§ 92.24 SEPARATION OF FIRES FROM BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES.
   (A)   Unless otherwise noted herein, burning that is permitted by the table in § 92.20 shall comply with the following setbacks, unless a greater separation is required by the Fire Chief or his or her designee to prevent a fire that may become hazardous or may create offensive smoke or odor emissions:
      (1)   Campfires: minimum setback of 25 feet from any building, structure or property line; and
      (2)   Leaf and grass burning, burning yard debris, controlled burn for silviculture, range management and wildflower propagation: minimum setback of 25 feet from any building or structure, 50 feet from any property line.
   (B)   Notwithstanding the above setbacks, burning of any type shall be set back a sufficient distance to prevent unintended spread of fire to nearby trees, underbrush and other potentially flammable vegetation.
