(A) The Fire Department, or a contractor working at the direction of the Fire Department or Williamstown Township, is authorized to clean up or abate the effects of hazardous material, substance or waste, including, but not limited to, deposits on property or facilities located totally or partially within Williamstown Township. Any and all responsible parties shall be jointly and severally liable for payment of all costs incurred by Williamstown Township or the Fire Department as a result of the cleanup or abatement activity.
(B) The remedy provided in this chapter shall be in addition to any other remedy available to Williamstown Township or the Fire Department provided by law including, but not limited to, remedial activities as mandated by state or federal law.
