§ 50.115 BENEFIT CHARGES.
Those persons owning land in direct proximity to a township sanitary sewer whose lands have not been subjected to a special assessment to pay for the construction of the sewer, and who desire to make connection to the sewer, shall pay a benefit charge for the privilege of each connection to the sewer. The benefit charge shall be as established from time to time by resolution of the Township Board of the Township of Williamstown. The benefit charge shall be paid in cash or in installments, with interest and penalties, all as shall be established and provided from time to time by resolution of the Township Board of the Township of Williamstown. No additions by other than the township shall be allowed to the public sewer system except by prior contract with the Township of Williamstown. Where the township contracts with a developer to extend the sewer system with private funds, then the developer shall not be levied a benefit charge on the privately funded sewer system specifically covered by the contract.
