It shall be unlawful for a person to divide or partition any lot, outlot or other parcel or tract of land in a recorded plat or divide or partition any unplatted parcel or tract of land, or transfer property between adjoining parcels or tracts, except in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, unless the division or partition is approved and a part of a recorded plat, pursuant to the Land Division Act, Michigan Public Act 288 of 1967, being M.C.L.A. §§ 560.101—560.293, as amended, or unless the division or partition is approved pursuant to the Condominium Act, Michigan Public Act 59 of 1978, being M.C.L.A. §§ 559.101—559.272, as amended.
