It shall be unlawful for any person, at any time, to use, carry or possess in any township park, any firearm, air-rifle, B-B gun, spring gun, bow and arrow, spear, sling, any instrument that can fire blank cartridges or any other form of weapon potentially harmful to human safety or to wildlife. Shooting into park property from beyond park boundaries is prohibited. These restrictions shall not apply to any duly appointed law enforcement officer while carrying out the duties and responsibilities of his or her position.
