PART 4: RATES AND DISCOUNTS
§ 10-2-4-1 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of §§ 10-2-4-1 et seq., the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   ADULT. A person between 13 and 64 years of age.
   CHILD. A person between three and 12 years of age.
   COMBO ADMISSION. Admission to the Zoo, the Aquarium, the Botanic Garden and train rides between the facilities but not within the Zoo.
   GENERAL ADMISSION. Admission to the Zoo, or the Aquarium and Botanic Garden.
   MEMBERS. New Mexico BioPark Society Members.
   RESIDENT. A resident of the State of New Mexico as demonstrated by a New Mexico driver's license or other proof of residency acceptable to the Director of Cultural Services.
   SENIOR. A person 65 years of age or older.
§ 10-2-4-2 ADMISSION FEES AND PASSES.
   All tickets are good for one-day use.
   Zoo
   New Mexico residents:
      $9.00 for adults
      $4.50 for seniors
      $4.00 for children
      Children under the age of 3 are free.
   Non-New Mexico residents:
      $12.50 for adults
      $5.50 for seniors
      $4.00 for children
      Children under the age of 3 are free.
   Aquarium and Botanic Garden
   New Mexico residents:
      $9.00 for adults
      $4.50 for seniors
      $4.00 for children
      Children under the age of 3 are free.
   Non-New Mexico residents:
      $12.50 for adults
      $5.50 for seniors
      $4.00 for children
      Children under the age of 3 are free.
   BioPark Combo
   New Mexico residents:
      $15.00 for adults
      $8.00 for seniors
      $6.00 for children
      Children under the age of 3 are free.
   Non-New Mexico residents:
      $20.00 for adults
      $10.00 for seniors
      $6.00 for children
      Children under the age of 3 are free.
   The BioPark Combo includes Zoo, Aquarium & Botanic Garden admission and train rides.
   New Mexico BioPark Society Members
   New Mexico BioPark Society Members receive unlimited general admission.

§ 10-2-4-4 MILITARY DISCOUNTS AND SPECIAL RATES.
   Military Discount
   All active and non-active military receive a $2 discount on adult tickets and a $1 discount on children's tickets. Individuals must present a military ID. The discount shall be good for general admission only.
   Special Rates
   The Cultural Services Department may provide discounts or special rates for certain periods of time or to groups including, but not limited to, school groups, recreation groups, children, and New Mexico BioPark Society members. In addition, the Cultural Services Department may provide for reduced admission to members of other institutions which have reciprocal agreements with the BioPark.
