A city board may designate one or more committees to study and make recommendations on matters within the jurisdiction of the board. Committee members may be board members but the board may also appoint nonboard members to such committees. Any committee with nonboard members shall include at least one board member. (Ord. 67-13, 2013)
The city attorney and the city engineer, or their designees, shall be the attorney and engineer, respectively, for any city board. Any legal advice or assistance desired by a city board shall be obtained only from the office of the city attorney except as otherwise provided by rules set forth in this code applicable to a particular board.
