The Department of Public Health shall maintain a bee allergy registration. Residents who have a certified anaphylaxis to bee stings, documented by a licensed physician, may notify the Department of Public Health to place their name and address on the bee allergy registration. The Department of Public Health will maintain a list of addresses of residents with certified anaphylaxis in addition to the physician documentation and will not issue an original beekeeping permit for an apiary within one hundred fifty feet (150') of any address on the bee allergy registration.
The Department of Public Health will update the bee allergy registration list on an as needed basis. (Ord. 2011-0-86, 12-5-2011)
