702.7 Lead bends and traps.
The wall thickness of lead bends and traps shall be not less than 1/8 inch (3.2 mm).
703.1 Building drain pipe near the water service.
Where the building drain is installed underground and within 5 feet (1524 mm) of the water service, as provided for in Section 603.2, the building drain pipe shall conform to one of the standards for, cast-iron pipe, copper or copper-alloy tubing, or ductile iron listed in Table 702.3.
703.2 Drainage pipe in filled ground.
Where a building drain is installed on filled or unstable ground, the drainage pipe shall conform to one of the standards for, cast-iron pipe, copper or copper-alloy tubing, ductile iron, nonasbestos fiber cement or concrete pipe listed in Table 702.3.
703.3 Sanitary and storm drains.
Where separate systems of sanitary drainage and storm drainage are installed in the same property, the sanitary and storm building drains shall be permitted to be laid side by side in one trench.
703.4 Existing building drains.
Existing building drains shall connect with new building drainage systems only where found by examination and test to conform to the new system in quality of material. The commissioner shall notify the owner to make the changes necessary to conform to this code.
