§ 363.04 Dwelling Building or Structure
   “Dwelling building or structure” means a building or structure used or designed or intended to be used, all or in part, for residential purposes.

§ 363.05 Dwelling Unit
   “Dwelling unit” means a room or group of rooms located within a dwelling structure and forming a single habitable unit with living, sleeping, cooking, eating and sanitary facilities used or intended to be used by one (1) family.

§ 363.06 Family
   “Family” means one (1) or more persons related by blood, adoption or marriage, or a family foster home, living and cooking together as a single housekeeping unit, exclusive of house-hold servants. A number of persons, but not exceeding three (3) living and cooking together as a single housekeeping unit though not related by blood, adoption or marriage shall be deemed to constitute a family. A family foster home shall mean a family related by blood, adoption or marriage as defined above with no more than five (5) foster children.

§ 363.07 Habitable Room
   “Habitable room” means a room or enclosed floor space used or intended to be used for living, sleeping or eating purposes, excluding kitchens (except where eating space is included in a room also used for cooking), bathrooms, toilet rooms, laundries, pantries, dressing rooms, storage spaces, foyers, hallways, utility rooms, heater rooms, boiler rooms and basement or cellar recreation rooms.

§ 363.08 Hotel
   “Hotel” means a building or part thereof in which rooms are available for hire as lodging to the general public, which rooms are occupied as a rule transiently and singly, rather than as dwelling units, and in which building food and drink may be served for consumption by the general public, and shall include all buildings known as motels or motor hotels, which conform to this definition.

§ 363.09 Multiple Dwelling
   “Multiple dwelling” means a dwelling structure occupied for residence purposes by more than two (2) families, or by individuals living in a rooming occupancy as defined herein, or by both.

§ 363.10 Occupant
   “Occupant” means a person over one (1) year of age, living, sleeping, cooking or eating in, or having actual possession of, a dwelling unit or a room used for rooming occupancy.
