   EDITOR’S NOTE: Ordinance 593, passed November 17, 1950, created a municipal Police Relief and Pension Fund. House Bill 642, enacted by the 1965 session of the 106th Ohio General Assembly, established Ohio R.C. Chapter 742 and created a Statewide disability and pension fund for policemen and firemen and abolishes all municipal police relief and pension funds as of January 1, 1967.
