139.16 EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT UPON TERMINATION.
   (a)    All municipal employees, in consideration of their full or part time employment with the Police Department, shall, upon acceptance of such employment, enter into a Reimbursement Agreement providing for reimbursement to the Village upon voluntary or involuntary termination for various expenses incurred by the Village as follows:
      (1)   For costs of all testing, equipment, and training on the employee's behalf, such reimbursements shall be in accordance with the following schedule:
         A.   If employee separates within one (1) year of the date of hire, the employee shall reimburse the Village seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost of all testing, equipment, and training.
         B.   If employee separates later than one (1) year but within two (2) years of the date of hire, the employee shall reimburse the Village fifty percent (50%) of the cost of all testing, equipment, and training.
      (2)   In addition, if any full or part time employee of the Police Department leaves Village employment within the first two (2) years of his or her employment, said employee shall reimburse the Village of Bratenahl fifty percent (50%) for all monies expended for his or her uniform allowance and maintenance allowance.
