1-4-3: SETTLEMENT OF VIOLATION WITHOUT HEARING:
   A.   For any person accused of violating any provision of this code where such code violation is also specified and shown in the schedule set forth in subsection B of this section, such person so accused may settle and compromise the violation claim by paying to the Village the applicable amount as shown in the schedule set forth in subsection B of this section within seven (7) calendar days of the date of notice of the Code violation alleged. Such payment may be made at the Village Hall and a receipt shall be issued for all money so received, and such money shall promptly be turned over to the Director of Finance. Should such person so accused fail to settle and compromise the violation claim within said seven (7) calendar day period as herein provided, the person so accused may settle and compromise the violation claim within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date of notice of the Code violation alleged by paying to the Village a sum equal to two (2) times the applicable amount as shown in the schedule set forth in subsection B of this section for each such violation, all in the manner as provided herein. Any Code violation not settled and compromised pursuant to this subsection may proceed to hearing as authorized by law.
   B.   Settlement pursuant to subsection A of this section of the following specified Code violation claims shall be by payment of the appropriate settlement fee as provided in the following schedule (which includes the sections or subsections of the Code where regulations are set forth): (Ord. 4-2006, 2-21-2006)
