A. A container for garbage shall be weather-tight and made of galvanized metal or plastic as good with a close-fitting cover of similar material, or a plastic bag with open end tied, with a capacity of not less than five (5) nor more than thirty five (35) gallons. Dumpsters are also permitted where appropriate.
B. Yard waste to be disposed is to be placed in a thirty five (35) gallon paper Kraft-style bag or thirty five (35) gallon garbage containers that have the appropriate sticker stating yard waste only. Dumpsters are also permitted where appropriate.
C. Residential garbage and yard waste containers may be placed in the parkway or in the alley right of way no earlier than twelve (12) hours prior to the day of pickup; provided they do not obstruct or hinder the flow of traffic, and shall be removed from the parkway or alley right of way no later than twelve (12) hours after the day of pickup.
