§ 9-4.205 CUL-DE-SAC.
   CUL-DE-SAC. A street which connects to another street only at one end.

   GENERAL PLAN. The comprehensive plan of the city adopted pursuant to Cal. Gov't Code Chapter 3 of Title 7 (§§ 65350 et seq.).

§ 9-4.207 DRAINAGE CHANNEL OR CONDUIT, MAJOR.
   MAJOR DRAINAGE CHANNEL OR CONDUIT. A channel or conduit which serves a drainage area of four square miles or more.

§ 9-4.208 DRAINAGE CHANNEL OR CONDUIT, MINOR.
   MINOR DRAINAGE CHANNEL OR CONDUIT. A channel or conduit which serves a drainage area of one square mile or less.

§ 9-4.209 DRAINAGE CHANNEL OR CONDUIT, SECONDARY.
   SECONDARY DRAINAGE CHANNEL OR CONDUIT. A channel or conduit which serves a drainage area less than four square miles and more than one square mile.

§ 9-4.210 FINAL MAP.
   FINAL MAP. A map prepared in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and the Subdivision Map Act, which map is designed to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder.

§ 9-4.211 FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT.
   FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT. The Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, serving in an advisory capacity to the Engineering Division and the Planning Commission relative to drainage and flood control problems.

§ 9-4.212 FLOOD HAZARD.
   FLOOD HAZARD. The possible occurrence of overflow storm waters causing the flooding of lands or improvements, or having sufficient velocity to transport or deposit debris, to scour the surface soil, or to dislodge or damage buildings, and shall also include the erosion of the banks of channels.

§ 9-4.213 FREEWAY.
   FREEWAY. As defined in Cal. Sts. and High. Code § 23.5, shall mean a highway which, because of its design and location with reference to the county highway system and state highway system, is or will be used primarily for fast, heavy, or dense traffic and for which right of access from abutting property or streets along the right-of-way boundaries will be prohibited or limited.
