§ 9-4.103 SCOPE.

   The provisions of this chapter shall be supplemental to and in addition to the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act and shall include procedures for the review and approval of subdivision maps and improvement plans.

§ 9-4.104 ADVISORY AGENCY.

   The Planning Commission is hereby designated as the Advisory Agency with respect to subdivisions in the following capacity as provided in the Subdivision Map Act, (Subdivisions) subsection (a) of § 66452.1 and subsection (a) of § 66452.2 and (Minor Subdivisions) subsection (b) of § 66452.1, and shall have all the powers and duties with respect to subdivisions, the maps thereof, and the procedure relating thereto which are specified by law and the provisions of this chapter.

   For the purposes of this chapter, unless otherwise apparent from the context, certain words and phrases used in this chapter are defined in this article.

   ALLEY. A way intended primarily for vehicular service access to the back or side properties otherwise abutting on a street.
