§ 51.31 QUALITY ASSURANCE.
   (A)   Notify the town a minimum of 24 hours before any testing is to be conducted. A representative of the Sheridan Water Works must be present to witness all tests.
   (B)   Disinfect and test all water mains installed. Disinfection shall be in accordance with AWWA C 651-92.
   (C)   Conduct pressure and leakage tests in accordance with AWWA C 605.
   (D)   Collect and submit samples of water from water mains installed after the water mains have been disinfected. Samples shall be submitted to a state approved certified laboratory for bacteriological analysis. Copies of test results are to be submitted to the town.
   (E)   Locate and repair leaks on any water mains installed that may occur within the one-year warranty period at no cost to the town.
   (F)   Submit one complete set of as-built drawings of the water mains and appurtenances as installed. These drawings shall be submitted to the town at the completion of the installation and testing of the mains, and the acceptance of the facilities.
      (1)   All valves shall be located and references to three permanent surface improvements.
      (2)    All fittings (tees, bends, crossed plugs, caps, etc.) shall be located and references to three permanent surface improvements.
      (3)   All water meter pits and vaults shall be located and referenced to the water main.
      (4)    All water mains shall be located and referenced to the centerline of the road or street at 500 foot minimum intervals.
