"Food or grocery store" means any place where food or drink is sold at retail for human consumption. (1999 Code)
5.53.020: LICENSE REQUIRED:
It is unlawful for any person to operate or to be engaged in the operation of a food or grocery store without first obtaining a license. (1999 Code)
5.53.030: LICENSE FEE:
The annual license fee for a food or grocery store shall be as specified on the fee schedule adopted pursuant to section 5.06.050 of this title. (1999 Code)
5.53.040: APPLICATION; REFERRAL TO HEALTH DEPARTMENT:
All applications for a license under this chapter shall be referred to the health department for investigation and recommendations in accordance with health ordinances of the city. (1999 Code)
5.53.050: LICENSE REVOCATION CONDITIONS:
The license granted under this chapter may be revoked by the mayor at any time upon notice and hearing for any violation of any ordinances of the city or laws of the state. (1999 Code)
5.53.060: COMPLIANCE WITH HEALTH ORDINANCES REQUIRED:
It is unlawful for any person to operate or be engaged in the operations of a food or grocery store in the city without complying strictly with the health ordinances of the city. (1999 Code)
