§ 111.001 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   CAPACITY. The maximum number of seating facilities for patrons.
   CLERK. The City Clerk.
   EMPLOYEE. Any person who handles food or drink during preparation or serving, or who comes in contact with any eating or cooking utensils, or who is employed in a room in which food or drink is prepared or served.
   HEALTH DEPARTMENT. The Wayne County Health Department.
   ITINERANT RESTAURANT. Any restaurant operating for a temporary period in connection with a fair, carnival, circus, public exhibition, or other similar gathering.
   RESTAURANT. Any restaurant, coffee shop, cafeteria, short order café, luncheonette, tavern, sandwich stand, or soda fountain, and all other eating or drinking establishments, as well as kitchens or other places in which food or drink is prepared for sale on the premises or elsewhere.
   UTENSILS. Includes any kitchenware, tableware, glassware, cutlery, containers, or other equipment with which food or drink comes in contact during storage, preparation, or serving.
