141.02 BENEFITS WHEN ON DUTY OUTSIDE CITY.
   Members of the Police Department, when performing any services or official duties outside the City, shall be entitled to benefits and pension and to participation in any indemnity fund established by the City to the same extent as while acting within the City. Such members of the Police Department shall likewise be entitled to all of the rights and benefits of any Workers' Compensation benefits to the same extent as while performing service within the City. The amount of any pension, benefit or indemnity, the period of payment, and the person or persons to whom it shall be payable, shall be the same as if such member were injured or killed while performing services within the City.
