16.12.040   Certificate of occupancy - Issuance.
   A certificate of occupancy shall be issued by the building official if, after making an inspection of a building or structure or any portion of a building or structure for which a certificate is to be issued, the building official finds that such building or structure or portion thereof complies with the building standards adopted by Chapter 16.06 of this title and any other applicable laws or regulations.
