The provisions of Chapter 29 of IBC are not adopted. The following language is adopted as Chapter 29:
"2901 GENERAL
2901.1 Scope.
The provisions of the Chicago Plumbing Code shall govern the design, construction, erection and installation of plumbing components, appliances, equipment and systems used in buildings and structures covered by this code. Toilet and bathing rooms shall be constructed in accordance with Section 1209. The Chicago Fire Prevention Code, the Chicago Minimum Requirements for Existing Buildings and the Chicago Plumbing Code shall govern the use and maintenance of plumbing components, appliances, equipment and systems. The Chicago Building Rehabilitation Code and the Chicago Plumbing Code shall govern the alteration, repair, relocation, replacement and addition of plumbing components, appliances, equipment and systems."
