(a) No person shall sell or offer for sale any article, thing, privilege or service within the confines of the Village park lands unless said person is duly licensed under the codes and ordinances of the Village and/or in possession of a formal written permit issued by the Village Administrator, Director of Public Services, the Fire Chief, and/or the Police Chief.
(b) No person shall beg, solicit, peddle or ask for donation of anything of value within the park without first having obtained a written permit from the Village Administrator and/or Director of Public Services.
(c) The posting of any signs, advertisements, hand bills, placards, or similar items of any description within the park upon any surfaces, are prohibited, without the express written permit having been issued for same by the Village Administrator or Director of Public Services.

(a) Designated facilities upon the park lands may require the express written permit issued by the Village Administrator or Director of Public Services for use. No persons shall use said facilities without first obtaining the express written permit as required by the Village and abiding by any additional rules, regulations, rental fees, or reservation systems established for use of facilities.
(b) Reserveable facilities which shall include shelter houses, designated picnic areas, designated parking areas, designated game and group areas, designated athletic fields, or similar areas, may be utilized by individuals and groups after first having obtained a permit for said use from the Village of Whitehouse. Said park use permit may be issued upon application of the individual user or group user and payment of any required fees, if any, as same shall be established by Village rule, code, resolution, or ordinance. Any person who violates the requirement to first obtain a permit for use shall be in violation of the use of said facility.
(c) All use of the park land facility shall be in strict accordance with the posted operational park times. Use of the park land facilities in violation of the posted times shall constitute a violation.
(d) Vehicles and apparatus including motorcycles, motorbikes, bicycles, scooters, skateboards or other similar apparatus, left within or upon the grounds of the Village park lands after posted usage times shall be a violation of park usage and said vehicle or apparatus shall be subject to removal with all costs for same assessed to the owner or operator. However, in exception to the prohibition of said vehicles within the confines of the park land after operational times of the park land, the motor vehicles and apparatus may be properly parked in designated municipal parking areas adjacent to public roadways upon the park lands as so posted and designated by order of the Village Administrator and/or Director of Public Services.

(a) Wild and exotic animals maintained in the custody of individuals or groups are prohibited in the parks.
(b) Domestic dogs, cats, and household pets are permitted in the park when all such pets and domestic animals are under the direct control of the owner or designee and on a lead or leash no more than six feet (6') long. The owner or designee of the owner shall promptly remove any animal feces or waste matter deposited by the domestic pet from any area of the park grounds. Further, said owner or designee shall, at all times, have in their possession a visible means of collecting and disposing of animal waste With such disposal to be in properly designated areas. Owners of properly designated "seeing eye" and/or assistance dogs are exempt from this section.
(c) No person shall release or abandon any dog, cat or other domesticated animal upon any park lands of the Village of Whitehouse.
(d) No person shall perform any mistreatment or abuse upon any dog, cat or domesticated animal within the confines of the park lands.
(e) Dogs, cats and domestic pets shall not be permitted in direct contact with any designated areas containing play equipment. Such designated areas shall be delineated and posted with signage.
(f) No person shall use, ride or drive any horse or similar draft animal upon any park lands or trails without the prior express written consent and permit for use of same being issued by the Village Administrator and/or the Director of Public Services.

(a) No person shall establish or maintain any campsite or temporary lodging or sleeping place within the confines of the Village park lands without the prior express written permit of the Village Administrator and/or the Director of Public Services being first issued in accordance with provisions established by the Village.
(b) Fires of any type except for culinary purposes in designated park grills or other areas as approved by the Village Administrator and/or Director of Public Services, are prohibited. All fires as permitted in designated or other areas shall be attended at all times by a competent person of eighteen (18) years of age or more and upon completion of the culinary or cooking usage, shall be properly extinguished before leaving the area. Disposal of ashes, burning materials or items from cooking or culinary use of fires are to be disposed of in properly designated areas and shall not be placed in any trash receptacles, walkway, pathway, trail, parking area and/or waterway. Fuels for cooking and culinary files shall be limited to wood, charcoal or other materials as shall be specifically approved by written permit of the Village Administrator and/or Director of Public Services. Portable self contained stoves and grills utilizing propane or other materials are permitted.
(c) Swimming or wading in any waterways of the park lands is prohibited except in specifically designated and/or as expressly permitted in writing by permit of the Village Administrator and/or Director of Public Services.
(d) No privately owned boats, canoes, kayaks, or other water conveyances of any type or nature are permitted upon any waterways of the Village park lands without the prior express written permit of the Village Administrator and/or Director of Public Services.
(e) Operation of automated or power toys and devises. No person shall operate any engine powered models, toys, airplanes, rockets, boats, cars, sirens, or other similar devices within the Village park lands except by first obtaining the express written permit of the Administrator and/or Director of Public Services, or operating said devices within specifically designated areas as delineated by signage.
(f) Aircraft. No person shall voluntarily operate, land or cause to descend or take off upon the park lands and/or waters within the park lands of the Village of Whitehouse, Lucas County, Ohio. Emergency or official business operation is exempt from this regulation.
(g) No person shall operate a sled, ride on a sled, or ice skate within the park lands except upon specifically designated areas as permitted by the Administrator and Director of Public Services and as posted for said operation and recreation.

(a) Except for properly designated individuals personally utilizing mobility assist devices, no persons shall use any portion of the park for motor vehicle, self-propelled vehicle, or animal propelled vehicles except for designated drives, roads, trails, and parking areas.
(b) No person shall drive, ride, operate or assist in the operation in any manner whatsoever of vehicles within designated areas of the park lands as posted by order of the Village Administrator and/or Director of Public Services- "CLOSED".
(c) Parking of any vehicle, motor vehicle, bicycles, wagons, carts, animal assist or propelled vehicles of any type and ancillary description shall be prohibited upon park lands except in areas designated by the Village Administrator and/or Director of Public Services as "parking area".
(d) No person shall intentionally accelerate any motor vehicle causing the tires or surface bearing apparatus to spin, mark or deface any park land trail, roadway, drive or parking area surface.
(e) No person shall operate or cause to be operated any motor vehicle or snowmobile or ATV upon any path set aside for the exclusive use of bicycles and pedestrian usage only. Said areas shall be designated with appropriate signage as directed by the Village Administrator and Director of Public Services.
(f) ATV, Snowmobile Usage. No person shall operate within the park any all purpose vehicle, ATV, mini bike, trail bike, dirt bike, snowmobile or similarly designated or defined vehicles at any time.
(g) Abandoned Vehicles. No person shall abandon any vehicle upon park land property.
(h) Electric or alternative fuel vehicles. No person shall operate any motorized, electric, alternative fuel, solar or other powered vehicles upon areas of the park lands not specifically designated for vehicular traffic and operation.
