154.01. Board created.

   There is created the Union Memorial Park Advisory Board, which shall consist of fifteen (15) members who shall serve without compensation. The members of this Park Board shall include representation of the following:

   5 members representing Labor;

   1 member representing The Arts Commission of Greater Toledo;

   1 member representing the neighborhood;

   3 members representing residents at-large;

   1 member representing the Mayor's Office;

   1 member representing the Ohio's 9th Congressional District Representative;

   1 member representing the County Commissioner's Office;

   1 member representing the councilperson for Toledo City District 4;

   1 member representing the Commissioner of Parks, Recreation and Forestry.

154.02. Membership.

   The members of the Union Memorial Park Advisory Board shall be nominated by the Mayor, subject to the confirmation by a majority vote of the City Council, and all of the members shall have voting power.

154.03. Terms of members.

   All appointments shall be for a four-year term, or for unexpired terms for vacancies that may occur. Any member may be re-appointed by the Mayor to serve additional terms, subject to the approval by Council. Unless specifically excused by City Council, all Board members shall be residents of the City of Toledo during the entire term of their appointment. Except as provided in Section 141.01 of the Toledo Municipal Code, there is no limit as to the number of terms any Board member may serve.
