The Board shall guide the development of Union Memorial Park and will serve in an advisory capacity to the Mayor, City Council, and Division of Parks, Recreation and Forestry. The Board shall render periodic reports and recommendations to the Commissioner of the Division of Parks, Recreation and Forestry. The Board shall, when requested by Council, consider, investigate, make findings, report, and recommend upon any special matter or questions coming within the scope of this work.
