No person shall install or permit to remain installed within the corporate limits of the City any piping or appliances, as well as connections and storage facilities, inside or outside of buildings, for the storage, transfer and use of liquefied petroleum gases or other gases used for fuel unless such gas installations are in strict conformity with the most approved methods of installation for safety to life and property. All such installations must be in compliance with Liquefied Petroleum Gases NFPA Pamphlet No. 58, 1974 edition, three copies of which are filed with the Clerk-Treasurer, which standard is hereby approved and adopted as a standard of efficiency for such installations.
Gas installers are required to furnish testing equipment for testing as outlined in this Gas Code and shall show the City Inspector that the installation meets with the minimum requirements as set forth in this Gas Code.
