Sec. 9-366 Resources.
   a.   The engineering staff of the Department of Natural Resources Division of Water is available to discuss and offer suggestions regarding requirements in the design of structures in floodways. High water marks have been set on many of the streams in the state, and information is available from the Division of Water on actual and/or potential flooding. Information regarding bench marks set to Mean Sea Level Datum, General Adjustment of 1929, is available from the Division of Water, Surveying and Mapping Section.
   b.   The Department of Natural Resources Division of Water publishes "General Guidelines for the Hydrologic-Hydraulic Assessment of Floodplains in Indiana" to assist in floodplain management and evaluate projects according to the Flood Control Act and National Flood Insurance Programs. This document provides information resources, standards and methods to prepare and present results of a computer model for a minor site assessment. Information Bulletin #37 provides additional details on the submission and review of hydraulic modeling for permit applications.
