a. The rate and charge for the use of and service rendered by the sewage works of the Town of Schererville shall be nine-dollars and thirty-six cents ($9.36) per month per single-family dwelling unit in all areas that are serviced by such sewage works and which are served by an unmetered water supply system.

b. For the cost of the acquisition, sanitary sewer line rehabilitation and improvement to conform in all applicable standards with prevailing law and the rest of the Town of Schererville's sanitary sewage system, all users connected with the Town's sanitary sewer system or who otherwise discharge sanitary sewage, industrial waste, or other liquids, either directly or indirectly, into the sanitary sewer system of the Town, from the area formerly served by the Schererville Heights Utilities Corporation sanitary sewage service system, shall pay the additional rate of three-dollars and twenty cents. ($3.20) per month for a term of twenty (20) years from and after the date of the first cost of such acquisition, improvement and rehabilitation.

c. The surcharge provided for herein shall be in addition to all other rates and charges billed to such users pursuant to any all applicable ordinances, or parts thereof, of the Town of Schererville, Indiana.
