The Water Works Superintendent shall be notified by the permit applicant, or his agent, contractor or employee, at least twenty four (24) hours prior to the time the actual tapping of the Town main is to be made, to enable said Water Works Superintendent, or his duly authorized delegate, to be present to inspect the tapping, all fittings and tubing and connections prior to backfilling or otherwise removing the ability to make such inspection.
