a. Authority to Post Signs - Whenever this Traffic Code designates any one way street or alley, the Chief of Police shall direct the placement of signs giving notice thereof, and no such regulation shall be effective unless such signs are in place. Signs indicating the direction of lawful traffic movement shall be placed at every intersection where movement of traffic is permitted in one direction only.
b. One Way Streets and Alleys - Upon those streets and alleys described in the Town's "Traffic Control Devices" Schedule in § 8-86 vehicles shall move only in the indicated direction of travel.
