Sec. 8-35 Activities Prohibited. 11

   a.   It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any motorized vehicle over, along, on or across any privately owned property in the Town of Schererville, Lake County, Indiana.

   b.   It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any motorized vehicle in the Town of Schererville, Indiana except over, on, along and across public roads, streets, thoroughfares.

   c.   It shall be unlawful for any owner or occupant of any privately owned and non-publicly owned land in the Town of Schererville, Indiana, to allow said privately owned or occupied lands to be used for the operation of any motorized vehicle.

   d.   All motor vehicles are prohibited from using compression release engine brakes within the corporate boundaries of the Town, except in the case of the failure of the service brake system.

   e.   Each violation of this Article as amended from time to time shall be punished by a fine or penalty in accordance with the penalty provisions of Sec. 3-99 of this Code.

11	I.C., §§ 9-21-13-1 through 9-21-13-7, address funeral processions. I.C., § 9-21-13-2, prohibits driving between vehicles of a funeral procession. All local ordinances addressing funeral processions were deleted at the request of the Town.
